The patented ökotherm® catalytic converter system transforms dirty, greasy air emitted during baking and roasting into clean air, hence preventing soiling. The oven fan passes the grease-laden air through the ring-shaped catalytic converter, where it is cleaned. The cleaned air is recirculated back into the oven – keeping the oven gleaming.

The special ökoEmail non-stick oven enamel is especially environment-friendly as aggressive cleaning and scouring agents no longer need to be used.
It is not only the innovative ökotherm® technology that ensures that your oven remains free of any soiling. Another feature is the extremely smooth, pore-free ökoEmail non-stick enamel which prevents grease and roast spats from sticking, making baking and roasting perfectly clean.

In contrast to the energy-consuming pyrolytic system (the disintegration of dirt particles by means of combustion) with temperatures of up to 500°C, ökotherm incurred, since the air is cleaned automatically while food is being baked and roasted. The ökotherm® catalytic converter utilises the heat generated during the conversion process for heating up the oven, thus cutting down on the consumption of valuable energy. A further benefit.

  Since the ökotherm® system cleans polluted air in the oven, only clean air escapes into the kitchen, keeping it free of grease deposits and nasty odours.
