Unlike other oven cleaning systems, the "ökotherm®" process helps to prevent
the build-up of grease and also puts a stop to smoke and lingering cooking odors being released from
the oven, which pollute the kitchen.
All this happens at normal cooking temperatures - there is no need for a specific
high temperature cleaning cycle, which would render the oven unusable for hours.
Because "ökotherm® " is a catalyzer and not a filter, it does not need to be
removed from the oven for cleaning as it regenerates itself every time the oven is used.
Heat generated by the converter is re-circulated within the oven, reducing
energy needs, an added bonus.
ökoEmail Interior Enamel Oven Surfaces
The ökoEmail interior oven surfaces in Küppersbusch ovens complement the ökotherm® System. ÖkoEmail
non-stick anthracite-finish surfaces are very tough, scratch-resistant and durable. They are also
very smooth and porous free, preventing fat and cooking residue from sticking. After cooking, oven
surfaces require only damp wiping and no harmful cleaning agents.
The "ökotherm® " catalyzer and ökoEmail oven surfaces are further examples of the
innovations present throughout the Küppersbusch kitchen appliance line.
